From design concept-to-delivery
Design is at the very heart of cdd, working closely with customers to create great product is what we really enjoy.
Our designers are specialised in nightwear and loungewear across different fabric bases from silk to modal, working directly with our customers to ensure product meets the required brief, reflects current trends and is within cost.
We invite buyers to spend a creative day with us, working on new ranges and designs, making the most of our fabric and lace sourcing, our knowledge on sustainability, our CAD capabilities and exploring our print library.

CAD DESIGN

Our designers at cdd are fully trained across Adobe Suite packages as well as Kaledo Style and Print software.
We are able to CAD detailed range boards for customer range building meetings and we create all technical flat drawings for our specification packs ready for production.
PRINT DESIGN

Did we mention prints? Yes, we have an extensive library of registered prints with the in-house capability to re-colour and re-scale as well as design brand new, exciting artworks across all fabric bases.
We use specialist CAD programs to create artworks based on current trends and customer feedback. We are able to advise on the most suitable print methods for both the artwork and the fabric base to ensure the highest quality and definition is achieved

cdd london studio has an experienced team of fabric technologists based both in London and China. This team enables us to offer a full service of development and sourcing of raw materials tailored to the performance, aesthetic, sustainability and costs specified by each customer.
Working with established suppliers in the industry we offer an extensive range of high quality lace and trims and are able to quickly source on request.

We always aim to listen, review and respond to trends, translating our customers’ exclusive needs and delivering volume winners or collections of coordinated items for the target consumer.
Our designers create new season mood boards for our showroom to give inspiration and direction, we have regular shopping trips creating a showroom which reflects prominent trends relating to our customer's requirements.

We follow the development of all our garments throughout all stages of fit and quality control checks. Our Product Development team has
extensive knowledge of garment fitting and pattern development and are specialists in managing customer requirements and garment finishing.
Our highly skilled in-house pattern cutter enables our designers and garment technologists to work together in the studio to maintain a high quality of fit and design.
